"The heavens call to you, and circle around you, displaying to you their eternal splendors, and your eye gazes only to earth."~Dante Alighieri
Michael Carroll is an illustrator, painter, writer, teacher, editor, consultant, colleague, friend, husband, and father. For over 40 years, he has used his gifts and talents to contribute to everything from museums and videos to books and magazines. His books and articles range from subjects as old as a trilobite to those as alien as a methane sea. This website offers a selection of his many paintings and books. Some are technical, some are humorous, but all are crafted with great scientific respect.
